Your eagerly awaited Floks luxury British wool mattress is due for delivery. Now you need to know what happens next and how to care for it.
Our experienced two man delivery team will deliver your mattress to a room of your choice. They'll carefully unwrap it and put it on your good quality existing bed, or will assemble your new Floks bed first if you've treated yourself to one of those too. When they leave they will take any packaging with them.
For protection, your wool mattress will have been wrapped securely for it's journey to you, so we recommend that you give it between 24 - 48 hours to breathe and settle once it's in place in your home.
After that it's good to go. To get the most benefit from your wool mattress, always use a breathable, natural bed linen. Floks natural hemp and organic cotton bed linen is the perfect choice to complement your mattress; and to create the ultimate sleep sanctuary; pair your wool mattress with a wool mattress topper, wool duvet and some luxury quilted pillows. Sleep heaven.
Having spent a few nights getting to know your new mattress, it's time to turn it. If you have a non-turnable mattress, you can rotate the top end to the bottom end. If your mattress is turnable it should be alternately rotated and turned. This should be done every week for the first 12 weeks so that all the natural fillings settle evenly in your mattress. After your first 12 weeks, we recommend that you turn, or turn and rotate your mattress seasonally.
Should you have any spillages then you should carefully spot clean any stains with a mild detergent.
