It is a huge privilege to be featured in the media and spread our passion for British wool. So when we were told that we had won the ‘Best Bedding’ category in Ideal Home’s Ultimate Bedroom Edit, we were honoured.
We believe so fervently in the magic of wool bedding and for this to be recognised by a panel of expert judges is very special. Ideal Home’s decor editor, Amy Lockwood said that “wool is naturally hypoallergenic and sustainable and this range makes bedtime feel extra luxe” – and we couldn’t agree more!
At Floks, we aim to provide a full sleep solution in a completely sustainable way, and have made it our mission to make the most sustainable wool bedding on the market. As members of the British Traceable Wool Scheme, we know exactly where our wool comes from. It is important to us that we have a transparent supply chain that is ethical and fair. Floks founder Sophie, has farming in her blood. Her grandfather worked as a Yorkshire farmer, and so supporting the UK farming industry and understanding the process is crucial.
Sustainability however is not just about the proximity of this wonderful resource. Wool itself boasts significant eco credentials: naturally thermo-regulating, breathable and biodegradable, making it the perfect choice for bedding. The best bedding in fact!
